Use of House Boulder’s of steel, which is mostly recycled materials and recyclable, is also important. On the exterior, both smooth and corrugated steel used to give the appearance of modern residence and very unique. Plus, the color of copper patina developed on the cladding makes the house look like it was always part of the landscape. Inside, steel beams make a vibe, almost industrial city. The same beams add character to the wall of windows open, make you lose consciousness in which a large space ends and where the Joshua Tree Park begins. Designed by Garrett Carlson, has the feel of rural homes which contrasts well with the modern facilities. While the large stones that make up the wall (which was built by engineers Hossein Zand) made of concrete, the inside of the home include some of natural stone and stone-like material. One concern about the stones have such a wall is naturally going to be blocked in some areas home, but the designers incorporated a mirror opposite a wall of large windows, kitchen, double that of natural light and gives the illusion that the two ends of the room has direct views of the landscape .
