The contemporary home design of shingled cottage in San Francisco

This project involves the addition of third floor of a small cottage shingles in 1908 in San Francisco. New third floor contains a bedroom, bathroom and dressing area with a sweeping view of downtown San Francisco. A glazed double height extension has been added to the front of the house, turn dark before, wrapped in a suspension bridge is bright and welcoming Staircase Hall. New facade has a smooth reconciliation between, old cottages and ceramics and open new modern aesthetic. At the center of the interior is a ladder back to the third floor. The scale and variety of new space was transformed into a tiny cottage architecture is more varied and complex.
