
This project involves the addition of third floor of a small cottage shingles in 1908 in San Francisco. New third floor contains a bedroom, bathroom and dressing area with a sweeping view of downtown San Francisco. A glazed double height extension has been added to the front of the house, turn dark before, wrapped in a suspension bridge is bright and welcoming Staircase Hall. New facade has a smooth reconciliation between, old cottages and ceramics and open new modern aesthetic. At the center of the interior is a ladder back to the third floor. The ratio of scale and new entry into the high double-traditional crops stacked in space interconnection and funny movements. Details such as lifting the roof is open and illuminated to reinforce the idea of light and transparency developed in the new addition. In the Living Room, a new steel covered fireplace Platonic solids and the balance of the open staircase and a sculpture. Minimalist interior palette helps to emphasize the play of light throughout the house and draw attention to the dramatic point of view outside. The scale and variety of new space was transformed into a tiny cottage architecture is more varied and complex.
